Welcome! Here's a little about me.
My name is Justin Talamantez; I was born in Dallas and raised in Arlington, Tx.
I have experience playing all kinds of genres, including Jazz.
From 2014-2017, I attended UT Arlington to pursue a Music Education degree.
Since then, I've taught private lessons for Trumpet, Piano, and Violin.
In addition to teaching lessons, I've been performing as a freelance trumpet player since 2015 and composing/arranging music for a living.
I am also the Artistic Director/Conductor of the Arlington High School Alumni Band (since 2014), which participates in several events each year and is a source of funding for the current AHS band.
Learning is one of my favorite things to do, and I do it every day.
I love dad jokes and puns and have a beautiful white dog named Appa.
